Adiba Rafat is a fashion designer from NIFT and a textile designer from the historic city of Banaras. She is the Founder and Owner of Bellylace®, a brand dedicated to preserving and celebrating the timeless artistry of authentic Banarasi handloom sarees.
With years of experience in designing and manufacturing premium Banarasi sarees, Adiba has had the privilege of creating exclusive sarees for distinguished personalities, including renowned politicians, public figures, and celebrities. Her craftsmanship and dedication to Indian textiles have earned her recognition across various platforms.
At the G20 Summit, Lucknow
During the G20 Summit in Lucknow, she had the honour of interacting with several eminent leaders, including Her Highness President of India Smt Draupadi Murmu ji, Her Highness Governor of Uttar Pradesh Smt Anandiben Patel ji, Shri Yogi Adityanath ji, Honorable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya ji, Honorable Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and other Ministers and higher level officers, reflecting her growing presence in India’s textile and fashion industry.
Celebrating India Through Design
Adiba has also designed special saree collections inspired by national celebrations such as Independence Day (15 August) and Republic Day (26 January). Her creative work has been featured and appreciated by multiple news channels and media outlets, highlighting her contribution to promoting the rich heritage of Banarasi weaving.
Through Bellylace®, Adiba Rafat continues her mission of bringing authentic Banarasi craftsmanship to customers across India and around the world, blending traditional artistry with contemporary elegance.
